My name is Alain Rioux. I'm a police officer since 1998. Since 2005, I work in a cybercrime unit of a Law Enforcement Agency, so I'm not a professional developper even if I program for a very long time. It's a hobby and I like it! I must also admit that english is not my first language, so if you see errors in my writing, don't hesitate to let me know.
All my tools have been developped in Perl (except for the DumpItBlue+). I began to program in this language in 2000 by the time I had my first website. From that time, I have developped a lot of tools. Most of them have been developped for law enforcement purposes and can't be shared as public. But, there is a few that can be share, so a few years ago, I start looking for that. This website is the outcome of this process.
I have also decided that all these tools will be open source, so I choose GPLv3 licence. You can follow my projects on SourceForge and GitHub.
